Hi! My name is Steph and I founded Confetti Dance to bring fun, laughter and creativity to young dancers in Adelaide’s inner South. My vision for Confetti Dance is to provide a nurturing, safe space for dancers (and their families) to develop a love for dance, music and a sense of self.

Dance has been an incredibly important part of my life for over 35 years… well… since the chicken costume really 😉 (scroll down!). My dance training has included Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Latin Dance and I was lucky enough to train in a program in America for 4 months. I studied Dance Teaching at the Queensland University of Technology and also have qualifications from the Institute of Fitness Professionals.

I have performed locally and internationally, including performing as a dancer AND as a suit character at Leofoo Villiage in Taiwan (that’s me in a Monkey Costume 😊). I have taught dance and fitness in primary schools and dance schools, choreographed musicals for schools, as well as working in the Fitness Industry for 8 years.

As Mum to my very energetic 7 year daughter, I have a passion for childhood development and age appropriate dance education – doing all of this with lots of creativity, fun and laughter.

I found Kinderballet ™ in 2017 and began teaching these beautiful programs at Pooraka, Everard Park and Glenelg. Now, with Confetti Dance, I can continue to teach these wonderful and nurturing programs, alongside my exciting and energetic Jazz classes that I have been teaching in various formats for 20 years.

I can’t wait to share my passion and the joy of dance with all of my Confetti Dancers and their families
